Cosafix: Application Cosafix

Application Cosafix^®


Place the Cosafix^® bandage on the bed before laying the patient down.	Position the Cosafix^®bandage as illustrated at hip height underneath the patient.	Fasten (Velcro) the waist fastener with light tension.

After pressing to stop bleeding, the puncture site can be covered by sterile means. A pressure device is now applied.	The thigh fastener is now pulled tightly over the pressure device and fastened securely to the waist fastener.	The final step is to check the pressure bandage and palpation of the pulse of the foot.
